The battery is further provided with a storage unit which stores use history information, indicates how the battery has been used in the vehicle, and further stores a deterioration level condition for determining the deterioration level of the battery from the deterioration degree of the battery; and a calculation unit which calculates the deterioration degree of thebattery on the basis of the use history information stored in the storage unit and, by referring to the deterioration level condition, determines a deterioration level of the battery from the calculated deterioration degree of the battery, and outputs this to the deterioration display unit.
